VMware Explore returns to Las Vegas, bringing an expanded and enriched Hands-on Labs experience! The labs experience you know and love is back again, with updated content showcasing the latest and greatest VMware by Broadcom products. New to Explore or the Hands-on Labs? Location and Schedule
Find us on Level 2 of the Venetian (casino level) in Hall C. Just head past registration to The Hub and follow the signs – you can’t miss us.
Expert-led Workshops
This year, we’re offering a variety of Expert-led Workshops, where you can dive deep into VMware by Broadcom solutions presented by the lab creators and subject matter experts.
These small sessions (40 seats) are 90 minutes packed with product information and hands-on experience.

Did you know that 95% of the labs offered in workshops are also available in our Self-paced Labs area? No registration needed – just show up and dive in as many times as you like, every day of the show. Our experts will be there to answer your questions and share their knowledge.
Self-paced Labs
The Self-paced Labs catalog is expanding daily, with over 60 new titles available. Explore a wide range of topics including the full VMware Cloud Foundation portfolio, machine learning, au SD-WAN, and much more. You can check out the full list in the Explore Content Catalog and favorite the ones you want to check out on-site. Our lab authors will be on-hand to answer any questions you have about the labs or VMware by Broadcom products.
Odyssey by Hands-on Labs
Odyssey is back, with exciting new games and fantastic prizes! Test your VMware product knowledge and race against the clock to climb the leaderboard. Two qualifying round games will be available along with study labs in the self-paced area.
- Monday: Game LaunchTuesday: Open for all gamesWednesday: Tournament @ 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
After the Hands-on Labs area closes on Tuesday evening, the top 8 players will be invited to the Odyssey Tournament on Wednesday for a chance to win:
- Odyssey Prizes: One-of-a-kind plaques to display, showcasing your accomplishments and bragging rights!
New this year:
- All games will be available on Monday, allowing you to strategize and play at your convenience.Missed a game? No problem! Play any game on Monday or Tuesday to qualify for the tournament.A special study guide is available in the Self-paced Labs area to help you prepare and maximize your points.
Cumulative points ensure that playing every game boosts your leaderboard standings. The live emcees will be back, providing entertaining commentary and hilarious dad jokes during the tournament. Be sure to come back to cheer on your favorite in the live, final round on Wednesday.
Hands-on Labs Tours and Command Center
Join our Hands-on Labs Tours to meet the lab creators and engineering teams, and get a behind-the-scenes look at our operations. The tour concludes at the Command Center Wall, showcasing real-time monitoring using VMware by Broadcom products. For more details on the tours, including our schedule, check out this in-depth blog.
