Enphase Energy在RE+ 2025展会上发布了其最新的IQ双向EV充电器。这款充电器不仅具备传统的EV充电功能,还能通过与车辆充电端口配对,支持车辆到家庭(V2H)和车辆到电网(V2G)功能。V2H模式可在停电时为家庭提供应急备用电源,而V2G模式则允许将存储的能量导出到配电网。该充电器采用基于氮化镓(GaN)的微型逆变器,可为400V或800V电池电动汽车提供高达11.5 kW的充电功率。内置的AI算法能根据实时电价和光伏发电预测,智能调度车辆的充电或放电。

Leading US-based microinverter manufacturer Enphase Energy unveiled its latest bidirectional electric vehicle (EV) charger, IQ Bidirectional EV Charger, at RE+ 2025.  

As the name suggests, in addition to its primary purpose as an EV charger, it also supports vehicle-to-home (V2H) and vehicle-to-grid (V2G) functions, once paired with the vehicle charging port. The V2H mode, which converts stored energy to AC power, serves as the emergency backup for homes during a power outage or failure, while V2G enables export of stored energy to the distribution grid. These features are enabled by pairing it with an external device, called IQ Meter Coller. Among the 2 types of EV chargers, AC and DC, the former depends on the vehicle’s on-board chargers, while the latter directly connects with the vehicle’s charging port. Enphase opted for the DC route. 

Equipped with a gallium nitride (GaN) based microinverter, this charger can deliver up to 11.5 kW of power to charge 400 V or 800 V battery-based EVs. In the V2H mode, the charger provides emergency backup power to connected critical home loads, thanks to the grid-forming functionality of the built-in microinverter. Embedded with artificial intelligence (AI) based algorithms, this system can schedule vehicle charging or discharging according to real-time electricity rates and a roof-mounted PV installation’s generation forecast. According to the company, these functions, which lead to savings for homeowners, are automatically managed in real-time by its software – the Enphase App.  

Enphase Energy senior vice president of the digital business unit Jayant Somani said, “The IQ Bidirectional EV Charger brings the family car into the home energy system.” He added, “It’s simple to install, easy to control, and designed to deliver backup power and the ability to share energy with the grid for homeowners.” 

The company expects to make this charger commercially available globally in the second half of 2026.
