Won’t the intelligence explosion allow us to digitize our minds sooner than most people are currently predicting? And once we digitize our minds, won’t people merge minds with one another to combine resources in one self—loosely analogous to “marrying fortunes together” or marrying the royal children of different kingdoms together so there is ultimately one kingdom? Likewise, won't AI neural networks merge together, occasionally sending off temporarily-unidirectionally-blinded AIs for some tasks? Then won’t our one human mind and the one superintelligent AI mind merge together for combined resources and the elimination of risk to self? Then won’t disease, suffering, and war go away with this final self? Then might we/you/I choose to run a simulation "inhabited" by temporarily-unidirectionally-blinded "individuals" out of ourself/yourself/myself? Isn’t it possible that this is has already happened, and we/you/I are/am in an endless loop? Or not?
